      Description

This prover pocket is suitable for use in, among others, Werner Pfleiderer Haton BIP 72 (E) Proofers.

The pocket consists of a plastic frame and a polyethelene mesh.
It fits WP Haton Intermediate Provers with a tray hole diameter of 193 mm.

This pocket’s frame is made of a compound that makes the frame more flexible.
It allows you to easily push back the frame, providing an easy switch of the pocket from the tray hole.
It will save you time when replacing your pockets for either cleaning or replacement.

Would you like more information about these new flexible pockets?
Please contact us via telephone number +31 85-0711877 or via info@bekeproofercups.com

Note: a pocket is also available for tray hole diameters of 191 mm!
Please check the diameter of the hole in the tray before placing your order!!

The open mesh provides excellent air permeability around the dough.
The pockets’ design provides enhanced and superb cleaning results.

      Available colors.
This Nylon Basket can be ordered in standard BLUE frame, combined with BLUE mesh.
Alternatively the pocket can be ordered in a White colored frame, combined with either white or with blue mesh.

      Compound.
The flexible compound developed for the production of the frame contains several additives that provide a durable pocket.
One of the additives is a UV Blocker, blocking the UV radiation from the UV-C lamps installed inside the proofer.
The UV Blocker delays the process of the resin becoming brittle over time, and extends the life time of the pockets’ frame.
Another additive ensures that the color remains as it is, it avoids the color from fading.

      Cleaning.
The pockets are easy to clean with a simple, mild cleaner.
Our advice is to do this regularly, preventively!
A mild cleaner can simply loosen the dirt after which it can be rinsed off.
Clean the pocket before the contamination sits too long, it becomes too hard or had too much time to soak into the plastic.
In terms of a cleaner, you can think of a solution from green soap, or with the daily cleaner used in the kitchen.

Bringing the cleaning liquid up to temperature supports the effect of the cleaners.
Note: the temperature cannot exceed 55-60C!
This is to prevent the mesh from shrinking under the influence of too high temperatures.

The materials used for the frame and the inlay

      THE FRAME
The raw material used for the pocket’s frame is a plastic that has been specifically developed for its application: to come into direct contact with moist and oil film containing dough pieces. The frame’s surface feels a bit “greasy” which in daily practice means that contamination adheres less easily to the frame’s surface. Because it adheres less strongly, any contamination at the same can easily be removed during cleaning.
The resin is executed with a standard UV stabilizer which makes it resistant to the impact of the UV radiation of the UV-lamps.

An extra UV stabilizer enhances the resin’s ability to withstand the impact of the UV radiation. The complete additive package is stabilezed by adding more additives that for instance avoid the white colored frame from turning yellowish after years of usage.
The UV stabilizer extends the lifetime of the pocket as it avoids the plastic from becoming brittle.

The available colours of the frame
Our pockets’ frames are available in White, Blue and Yellow. However, for orders just as low as 500 pcs the frame can be made in any custom colour.

When you consider a custom colour please contact us.
We’ll be glad to prepare an offer based on your specific requirement.

      Metal Detectable
The frames of all our larger pockets are available in a Metal Detectable version as well.
Here we offer two colours: BLUE and WHITE / GREAY

      Food Grade Materials – FRAME
The compound for the frames is always made of Food Grade plastics, certified to come into direct contact with food stuffs.
This also applies to the meshes and felt used in our pockets and trays.

      THE MESH
      Food Grade Materials – MESH

The meshes used for our pockets are always made of Food Grade plastics, certified to come into direct contact with food stuffs.
This applies to both the WHITE as well as the BLUE coloured mesh types.

Which inlay types are available, where do they differ and what is their application

Our pockets come with different kind of inlays: various mesh types and felt:

      1. Open Mesh type, code 95020. Available in White and Blue.
      2. Fine Mesh type, code T200. At this moment available in white only.
      3. A mesh type between meshes 1. and 2: code T420. At this moment available in white only.
      4. Needle Felt. Available in white color.

Ad 1. Open Mesh type, code 95020 – WHITE.
All our larger sized pockets are executed with type 95020 mesh. Due to the configuration of yarn diameter and mesh width, the mesh is fine enough to avoid the dough from sinking inside the maze during proofing time. Once the dough is inside the maze it causes the dough to stick to the mesh. At the same time the mazes are that wide that air circulation is optimized, and therefore provide perfect proofing conditions.

Type 95020 is our standard mesh type, executed in white color and is used in all our larger pockets.

Ad 1. 1. Open Mesh type, code 95021 – BLUE.
In addition, we offer a Blue version of the type 95020 mesh.
In the unthinkable situation that fibers come loose from a broken yarn, a blue fiber will be found more easily on the dough, rather than a white fiber, simply because no other ingredients in the bakery process are blue-colored.
Since blue is an uncommon color for dough / bread pieces many items in bakeries are already, where possible, made in blue colored materials.

Ad 2., 3. and 4. These inlay materials are mainly used in our smaller pockets (or cups) that are mounted in Kaiser and other small bread intermediate proofers.
Fully dependent on the type of dough and the proofing/resting time inside the pocket, you can choose from one of these mesh options.

      Food Grade Materials:
All our pockets and cups are made from Food Grade material and are meant to come into direct contact with food stuffs.

Increased volume for extended proofing time
For some reason you may want to extend proofing time.
Longer proofing implicates an increased dough ball volume. The increased volume requires the pocket’s bowl to be larger as well.
For extended proofing time we offer all our larger pocket models in a “deeper mesh” execution.

Please contact us in case you have a requirement for a deep-mesh pocket.
Already available for, for instance Gefra, Ter Haar, De Ridder, Van Dijk, H2A intermediate proofers.
